Privacy and Data Protection Policy

PARLAM SOFTWARE, S.L. (hereinafter, Parlam), pursuant to current law on Personal Data Protection, hereby informs users of its online platform with regards to the Data Protection Policy it will apply in the treatment of personal data which the user voluntarily provides upon access to the website www.parlam.com.

The user, in providing Parlam with his/her personal data through the website’s electronic forms, expressly consents to Parlam treating this data in the terms of this Privacy and Data Protection Policy clause.

Before signing up at Parlam, users must read this Privacy and Data Protection Policy and accept it by checking the box in the Parlamregistration form.

Upon signup, the user must, as a rule, provide the following data for his/her profile: email, password, first name and last name. In addition, during the process of creating the profile, company data is requested such as its name and the country and region in which it is located.

The user may access and create an account through his/her Facebook, Twitter or Google profiles.

The information and data provided by the user will be available at all times on his/her user account, and may be modified by the user through the "edit profile" option.

The user is obliged to enter real and truthful information. He/she will likewise be the sole responsible party in the event of damages and losses suffered by Parlam or third parties as a result of falseness, inaccuracy, negligence and/or lack of authenticity in the data provided.

Data collected by Parlam will be exclusively used for the purpose defined in the website’s Use Conditions, which may be consulted here.

Personal Data Protection Act – "PDPA"

Parlam hereby declares its commitment to comply with current law at all times with respect to data protection, specifically with Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December, on Personal Data Protection; Royal Decree 1720/2007 of 21 December, which approves the regulations developing Organic Law 15/1999; and remaining applicable law.

Pursuant to Article 5 of Law 15/1999 of 13 December, on Personal Data Protection, users are informed that the personal information that may be provided to the website will be the object of automated treatment and will go on to be entered into the files owned by Parlam, with the party responsible for the file being Parlam Software, S.L., duly registered in the General Registry of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, for the purposes of managing clients and users registered on the website, providing users with any information they request, and administering the sending of commercial and promotional information of interest to its users.

Security Measures and Levels

Parlam has adopted the measures necessary in order to maintain the required security level, according to the nature of the personal data treated and the circumstances of the treatment, in order to avoid, in as much as this is possible and always according to the state of the technology, its alteration, loss, handling or non-authorized access.

The personal data provided will not be ceded to third parties without prior authorization by the owner thereof.

Exercise of Rights

The user may exercise his/her rights of access, correction, cancellation and opposition pursuant to that established in Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on Personal Data Protection, bearing in mind that the exercise of these rights is of a highly personal nature, for which it will be necessary for the interested party to accredit his/her identity. The exercise of these rights must be done in writing and signed by the owner of the information, indicating his/her address and attaching a copy of his/her National Identification Document or other certifying document, and sending this to Parlam at the email info@parlam.com.
